All my life paths brought me here. From my wild tomboy adventures falling into creeks and out of trees, to learning to hoe a garden from my grandpa, while growing up in the shadows of my parents integrity to my days of lugging suitcases through security, following Joel as his resort lifestyle creations came alive.
Where I was born or went to school is history. I've been lucky enough to have already had two wonderful careers, which I actually enjoyed, in addition to receiving awards, beating records, and beginning lifelong friendships. My years in new home sales & marketing, with over 25 years as a Real Estate Broker in Florida and the adventures of decorating over 100 model homes while operating a home decor business offer just a glimpse of me. Both paths, which also led me here, provide experience which is now being applied to our own resort lifestyle creations.
I used to have hobbies, and recently retired my dusty SLR and splurged on a professional Nikon digital which I have no clue how to use. When I was home often, my orchids used to excel.
I guess my hobby is friends, because any day I find myself with free time, I choose to spend it with friends. I'm known for my parties, and crazy recipes I make -up, and the necklace I've worn for over 30 years which boldly says: LIVE LOVE LAUGH, a motto I live by.

Mascots:
Princess and Jazzie are our Bichon Frise's and dutifully attended all the creative planning sessions of Sundog Places, so their faces belong here, too. Princess, who will be 15 on Sept. 11, lives up to her name. A regal white ball of fluff in Florida, she adapted very quickly to the rugged NC terrain, and 'owns' the mountain. Jazzie, a two year old, is all puppy, will jump at you until you throw a toy for her, and still barks at the waterfall.
